After a decade in risk management at a Fortune 500 company, she transitioned to the non-profit sector, emerging as a leader in healing justice and racial equity. As the Racial Justice Program Officer at the Foundation for Louisiana, she developed key healing justice strategies and led New Orleans’ first Racial Healing Community of Practice.
Keeta founded Jackson Magnolia Consulting, LLC, where she collaborates with organizations to create inclusive spaces for healing and to dismantle systemic barriers. She also established Women of Wakanda, an Afro-futurist, Black woman-centered Mardi Gras walking krewe that fosters community solidarity and mental well-being. Her leadership extends to partnering with BlerdFest2024, celebrating Black nerd culture and promoting economic prosperity and diversity.
Her contributions have earned her recognition as a 2019 SheLeads Fellow, a 2020 New Leaders Council Louisiana cohort member, and a 2021 Hull Fellows Leadership Program participant. Keeta resides in Gentilly, where she enjoys DIY projects, New Orleans culture, and spending time with her partner and furbabies.
